When a drop ends

What you hold does not change

Anything you minted is in your wallet. A window closing, a drop being withdrawn, or the platform's later work on unsold editions has no effect on the works you hold — the platform never holds them, so there is nothing for it to move.

The editions nobody minted

• Some drops move their unsold editions into auctions once the window has closed. The platform runs that on a schedule rather than at the moment the clock passes zero.
• Whether a drop can do it is the sale contract's decision rather than a setting in a dashboard: a drop whose supply was escrowed when it was created, for instance, cannot.
• A drop that cannot move them simply ends, and its unsold editions stay unminted.

When the panel reads sold out

The mint panel knows the collection's supply cap, so it shows the drop as sold out rather than offering a mint that would fail on chain. That can happen while a drop's own window is still open, if the collection has already been filled by something else.

If a drop leaves the site

A drop can be withdrawn from the public pages. The address, the contract and everything minted from it stay on chain and in your wallet: what goes away is the page, not the work.
